William Osler Health Centre Minor Goods and Services (STAT Specimens) Courier Contract Awarded to Carecor

Carecor has been awarded the Minor Goods and Services contract with the William Osler Health Centre (Shared Services West) to transport emergency STAT laboratory specimens, blood products, pharmaceuticals, mail, supplies and other items on an emergency and STAT basis between the William Olser sites in Etobicoke and Brampton, and external organizations, such as Canadian Blood Services.

"We are pleased to have been selected as the preferred courier vendor for William Osler Health Centre," said Tom Kobayashi, Carecor's Director Transportation Services.  "We will play a vital role in transporting emergency STAT specimens and blood products both safely and efficiently that could be a life threatening situation. William Osler Health Centre is one of the largest hospital corporations in Ontario. As a regional referral centre, it provides programs and services to (over) one million area residents in the growing and diverse communities of Etobicoke, Brampton, and the surrounding area.
