Dear Ms. Jamper,

Your excellent teaching skills and courteous personality has helped me tremendously through my journey at Seneca College School of Nursing.

Without your helpfulness and directness, the nursing school would have been more challenging. I appreciate you being stern and letting me know what I am doing wrong along with giving me ways I can correct my mistakes. It is comforting to know that whenever I have a question you answer right away during my clinical practice, which you know is all the time. I like that you refer to your personal work-related situations as examples when teaching a lesson along with a regular course outline.

I have learned so much from you and I look forward to learning more. Thank you for being a remarkable teacher and I am very grateful to have you as a teacher.

Michael
Registered Practical Nurse

I am happy to share my journey to become a student nurse. This comes because of my personal support worker instructor Miss Susan Igoh from CLI College. She encouraged me to move a step forward in my career. She kept saying “Lamlat, do you know you can be a nurse?”.  She encouraged me to write a plan 2years ago while in school as a pathway to become a nurse.

She believes so much in all her students, even the ones that don’t have zeal to achieve the completion of the course. Very through, detail oriented and motivating teacher who teaches with love and patience.

Darlene, my Medical Office Assistant Teacher at Algonquin Careers Academy, is someone I want to acknowledge.

Thank you for your patience, for your kindness, and for your support. You were not only a teacher – you became more to us. We learned we laughed, we cried, we graduated… I just want to say, “Thank you”.

Mr. Gibson from Master’s College and Seminary in Peterborough taught me the course Knowing About Cultures.

I would like to thank Mr. Gibson for teaching me about other people’s culture and teaching me how to love others! The way you enable Christ love daily to inspire me to do the same! I simply want to say thank you for sticking to your values and embracing other culture differences.
